Desert TheatreWorks is not a business. We are a California 501©(3) nonprofit, and that designation is not a technicality — it is the structural reality of how live theatre survives in America. Roughly half of what it costs to bring you a season comes from ticket sales. The other half comes from the people who believe theatre matters enough to give.
